Our Commitment
Accuracy matters more than speed. We correct mistakes promptly, transparently, and with context so readers can trust what they find on denizyalim.com.
What We Correct
- Minor fixes — Typos, formatting, and small grammar edits that do not change meaning. These may be updated without a note.
- Substantive corrections — Errors in facts, figures, dates, names, attributions, quotations/verse references, or guidance that could affect reader decisions. These are corrected with a brief Update note.
- Clarifications/updates — When new information improves clarity or adds context (without reversing the core point), we add an Update note to explain the change.
- Retractions/removals — Rare. We prefer to correct rather than remove. We remove content only when legally required or when the risk of harm clearly outweighs the value of retaining it.
Where & How We Note Corrections
- Substantive changes and clarifications include a short note at the end of the article, e.g.:
Updated Sept 11, 2025: Corrected an attribution and clarified Section 2. - Notes are dated and concise. We avoid burying or overstating corrections.
How to Request a Correction

- Your name and email so we can follow up
Response time: We aim to acknowledge requests within 48 hours (Mon–Fri). Investigation time may vary by complexity; we’ll let you know the outcome and what changed.
Review Workflow
- Triage: We assess severity (potential reader impact or risk of harm).
- Verification: We check primary/reputable sources; for quotations or verses, we confirm attribution/translation tags.
- Decision: Correction, clarification, update, retraction, or no change.
- Publication: If substantive, we add an Update note at the end of the article and make the fix in-line.
- Follow-through: If a piece was shared on our social channels, we update or comment there when practical.
Transparency & Records
- We do not maintain public version archives and do not link to previous snapshots.
- We avoid vague “stealth edits.” Meaningful changes receive an Update note.
Scope Boundaries
- User submissions/comments (if enabled): We moderate according to site rules. Corrections to user posts are handled via replies or moderation actions.
