Editorial Guidelines

Purpose & Voice

At denizyalim.com, we publish helpful content that supports readers navigating self-discovery, relationships, love, life wisdom, and everyday happiness. Our voice is warm, clear, and practical. We take pride in our work being original, accurate, and responsibly researched, free of ethical concerns, conflicts of interest, and misinformation.

Authorship & Originality

  • Original work: Unless otherwise noted, our articles are written in-house.
  • Attribution: When we include famous quotations or poems, we name the author (and, when relevant, the work/title). We do not publish uncredited material.

Sourcing & References

When background research is needed, we rely on reputable books, journals, and recognized experts. Where helpful, we add a References section listing the works consulted with bibliographic details. We avoid citing low-quality, anonymous, or sensational sources.

Editorial Process

  1. Idea & outline: Define the reader need and the practical takeaway.
  2. Draft: Write with clarity, empathy, and concrete examples.
  3. Fact-check & copy-edit: Verify names, dates, spellings, and any claims; refine tone and structure.
  4. Final review: Senior pass for completeness and compliance with these guidelines.
  5. Publish: Each article displays an author byline and a published date. Evergreen pieces are revisited periodically to keep them clear and current.

Accuracy, Updates & Corrections

Accuracy matters more than speed. If we discover a material error—or if readers alert us—we fix it promptly and transparently. Minor fixes (e.g., typos that don’t change meaning) may be updated without a note; substantive changes include a short Update note at the end of the article. For procedures, see our Corrections Policy.

Tools & AI

We may use editorial tools (including AI) for research support, grammar, and formatting. Every piece is reviewed by a human editor for accuracy, clarity, and tone before publication. Tools do not replace human judgment.

Ethics, Safety & Inclusivity

We avoid harmful stereotypes and do not publish explicit or exploitative material. Sensitive topics (grief, mental health, faith, relationships) are handled with care and are never framed as guarantees of results. For more context, see our Disclaimer.

Advertising, Affiliates & Independence

Advertising (including Google AdSense) and any affiliate relationships do not influence our topics or conclusions. Sponsored or affiliate content is clearly disclosed and kept separate from editorial decision-making. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details on data and site use.
